Examples of horary judgments
Situation
On 24th of September 2008 a pregnant lady asked me when she would bear a baby and what sex it would be? The question was asked in 14:07 Moscow.
The horary judgment
You’ll bear a girl in 13 weeks close to 24th of December
The event
After a month doctors said the expected date – 5th of January. The lady was pretty sure that she would bear on 7th of January (based on her mother’s intuition). The baby was born on 22nd of December. It was a girl.
Situation
I asked this question to myself when my wife noticed absence of her passport. Passport could be in one of three places: here at home, in our house outside Moscow or in my wife’s office. I asked a question “where is the passport?” on 28th of March 2009, 18:25 Moscow.
The horary judgment
The passport is here in the kitchen close to the wall within my wife’s belongings in something of red color.
The event
I fixed the time of a question but did cast chart later – I was watching a movie. When the movie was over, I looked at the chart and made judgment. Passport was in the kitchen in wife’s documents close to the wall in a red folder – exactly as chart suggested.
Later I noticed Mercury conjuncting 7th house cusp in few degrees (in his primary movement) which sounded like “the passport would be found in few hours after a question was asked” – this is exactly the time I spent to movie. (This is to emphasize again how “free” our will is)
Situation
The astrologer expected a book of Al’Biruni to arrive. She asked herself “When will I get my book?” Question was asked on 10th of April 2009 in 21:15, Cherepovets, Russia. Later she confessed she ordered and expected not one but two books.
The horary judgment
The first book will arrive on 15th of April. The book of Al’Biruni will arrive close to 21st of April.
The event
The first book arrived exactly on 15th of April. The book of Al’Biruni arrived on 20th of April
Old horary question
That’s quite famous horary judgment demonstrated by W. Lilly in his Christian astrology. Based on testimony of the chart Lully found a thief who stole his fish. Here I put another judgment of the same horary chart which I believe looks more convincing
The horary judgment
Who signifies a fish?
We have two candidates for fish – the Lord of 2nd (Mercury) and the Lord of 4th (the Moon). Lilly chose Mercury but I’d rather stay with Moon since she natural ruler of fish and of lost objects. The Moon is the Lord of 4th which is the house of hidden treasures – so I expect the fish to be hidden within something.
Who is a thief?
The first candidate is Jupiter – a planet in angle with no dignities. Separating aspect of Moon and Jupiter signifies a thief who has recently contacted with fish which is supporting testimony for our choice of fish significator. Jupiter had last contact with fish on opposition – a thief will regred he stole the fish. And so it proved.
Will it be found?
The Moon goes to the Lord of the 2nd – a fish goes to Lilly’s pocket. Yes. It will be found.
Where is the fish?
The Moon is in angle – fish is close – in the same village where Lilly lived at the moment. The Moon is in earth sign – so it should be in a low-leveled room, on the floor. These testimonies are obviously not enough to make judgment. Let’s find the location of the thief.
Where is the thief?
Since fish didn’t cross the border of the village a thief should be close. A thief’s significator is in water sign – a thief lives close to water. His money is derived from the watery place (the lord of his 2nd is in watery sign) – he may be sailor or fisherman.
What does he look like?
Jupiter suggests big size of corpus. Being in water sign it makes a thief fleshier. Jupiter is in dignities of Mars – this should make him a bit shorter, dries him out and makes more thickset. Mars also suggests red-colored hairs which for Englishman could mean just red hairs. Jupiter by itself indicates a thief to be relatively the same age as Lilly.
So a thief should be a well-grown burly guy, not old, presumably red. He should live close to the water and may be a sailor, fisherman or somehow connected to the river. The fish is in the low-leveled room on the floor. And so it proved later when Lilly found a guy who fitted the description and got a search warrant. He found the fish in his house in the bag staying on the floor.
Situation
My colleague who administrates the astrological forum has noticed that two different users were registered from the same computer. He suspected that one person has used 2 different nicknames (one male and one female) which is prohibited. When he was telling me this story I recollected that I knew the girl with this nickname on that forum. Just to clarify if it's really she who registered under male nickname I asked myself “is it a boy or a girl who registered under the male nickname?” At the very time my colleague addressed me his own question “Is it one or two persons who registered under these nicknames?” Both these questions were asked at the same time: 9th of April 2009, 17:02, Moscow.
The horary judgment
The second person is a boy. Two different people are registered from the same computer. They are couple living together. And so it proved on a next day.
Situation
Astrology asked herself a question “we have staff reduction due to crisis. Will I keep my job?” A question was asked on 25th of December 2008 10:15, Cherepovets, Russia.
The horary judgment
You’ll loose your position in 10 weeks, but chart suggests you get a new permanent one.
The event
Exactly in 10 weeks a querent was notified of her dismissal. But she was also told that she was moved into new department on as a permanent staff.
